About Me

A queer and neurodivergent cis-woman born in a rat’s nest in the scorching Phoenix, Arizona desert where I earned a BA in English Literature from Northern Arizona University (Go Jacks!) and a Masters in Secondary Education from Arizona State. My quarter life crisis brought me to the Puget Sound, first Port Orchard and now Tacoma, Washington. I’m a current high school English and ELL teacher, which is endlessly rewarding, entertaining, and exhausting. I live with my wonderful partner and our two cats, Norman and Hannibal.
